Behavioral Health Experts to Speak at Southeastern Conference

Pensacola, Fla. (August 14, 2017) – A group of Behavioral Health experts from Lakeview Center will present at the largest behavioral health conference in the Southeast. The Florida Behavioral Health Conference will take place August 16 to 18 in Orlando, Florida. Lakeview Center speakers and topics include:

• Medication-Assisted Treatment - Integrating into Clinical Practice
o Sandi Crawford, LCSW, MCAP, CET, Director Road to Recovery at Lakeview Center
o Amy Gokey, M.A, LMHC, Director of The Friary of Lakeview Center

• Spiritual/Pastoral Care: the Third Leg on the Stool
o Chaplain Dan Hamel, M.Div., Chaplain Lakeview Center

• Psychiatric Hospitalization or Diversion? Integration of Hospital and Crisis Stabilization Unit/Addictions Receiving Facility
o Tasa Isaak, M.S., CCMS, Director of Adult Case Management, co-presenter
o David Josephs, Psy.D., Clinical Director of Lakeview Center, co-presenter

The conference is organized by the Florida Alcohol and Drug Abuse Association, the Florida Council for Community Mental Health, and the Florida Hospital Association and attracts more than 1,300 professionals, executives, exhibitors, and volunteers each year. Attendees will learn about current technology, research and trends. The conference will host three keynote speakers, plenary presenters and more than 60 workshops.
