How do we sustain good mental health in a fast-paced, multi-tasking world? We slow down and become more aware of our actions and surroundings. Yes, it can be done! Save this article and post it in your office or on the kitchen refrigerator with the goal of reading and trying to put into practice one tip each week. Then repeat the four-week cycle. In time, you may be surprised how much better you feel about life.
- Go to bed at the same time and get at least seven hours of sleep each night.
- Write out a weekly meal plan for eating mostly fruits and vegetables every day.
- Pick one exercise that you enjoy and do it at least three times each week.
- Keep a journal of weekly stressors to later reflect on how to react in the future.
Living with intention is empowering and calming, and it can be as simple as one-two-three-four!
