Outpatient - Children
Lakeview Center provides behavioral health and/or substance abuse treatment and intervention services to children ages 17 and younger as well as their families. We offer a variety of outpatient programs that allows us to serve a broad range of needs for children in our community. For more information about these services call 850.469.3714.
Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Support Services
These outpatient services include psychiatric evaluations and medication management for children who are 17 years old and younger and under the care of a psychiatrist. We also provide referrals for children and their families. This level of psychiatric support is the least restrictive that we provide, and we encourage children and their families to be active participants in their treatment plans.
Outpatient Counseling Services for Children and Adolescents
Lakeview Center provides outpatient counseling services to help children and adolescents ages 5 to 18 years old. Our counselors meet with individuals and children in traditional office and group therapy settings. We also provide psycho-educational groups. We have experienced staff with various specialties who have worked with children and adolescents to overcome their challenges in life.
Infant Mental Health
Research has shown that a consistent and warm relationship with a parent figure provides the basis for a child’s life and his or her ability to form healthy relationships into the future. Lakeview’s Infant Mental Health program is a community-based resource that helps families with children ages 0 to 5 years old providing services in both natural environments and clinical settings. Treatment focuses on enhancing the parent-child bond and is designed to maximize strengths and reduce stressors. The center is located in Milton, Florida and provides outpatient services to include assessments, individual, group and family counseling, crisis intervention and psychiatric medical services
