GCE is Creating More Job Opportunities for those with Disabilities

GCE is creating more job opportunities for person with disabilities by acquiring Able Forces.

Pensacola, Fla. (August 1, 2018) – Global Connections to Employment (GCE), an affiliate of Lakeview Center, has expanded operations by acquiring another nonprofit with a similar Mission.

“The unification of these two outstanding nonprofit organizations shows what can be done when two organizations share a similar focus and their cultures align in support of one common mission,” said Mark Kessler, vice president of Business Development, GCE.

Able Forces is located in Front Royal, VA. The organization was started by two veterans who established the primary focus of providing employment opportunities to military veterans who have disabilities. GCE’s Mission is to help people throughout life’s journey and they do so by connecting people with disabilities (including veterans) to jobs.

GCE is the largest employer of people with disabilities in Northwest Florida and is now making more jobs possible across the nation. GCE operations expand to 14 states and the District of Columbia with the new acquisition.
