Professional growth journey: Lindsey McGriff

For 20 years, Lindsey McGriff has dedicated her career to supporting others and helping the organization grow. Now serving as LifeView Group’s manager of Quality Systems and Data Analysis, she oversees audit tracking, policy and procedure management, accreditation preparation and reporting to ensure continuous improvement within the company.

Lindsey’s path to LifeView Group was shaped by her upbringing in a large, blended military family. As the oldest of six siblings, she naturally took on a caregiver role, developing adaptability, discipline and a strong sense of responsibility. She discovered her passion during an internship at a children’s advocacy center, where she gained firsthand experience in social work.

Lindsey received her bachelor’s degree in social work at Florida State University and began her career as an intern at FamiliesFirst Network (FFN) in DeFuniak Springs. Over 16 years in child welfare, she advanced from intern to case manager, then to supervisor and later took on responsibilities in the Family Finder Unit. Eventually, she transitioned into policy and procedure management, preparing FFN for accreditation and ensuring regulatory compliance.

When her current role in administration opened within LifeView Group, Lindsey never expected to land the position. However, she embraced the challenge, stepping away from direct child welfare work while still utilizing her skills. The transition was significant, but she found purpose in a new way. “It’s important for me to tell people that I found my peace,” she shares. “Through working in child welfare and seeing both the good and bad in people, I saw God on display repeatedly.”

Lindsey embodies LifeView Group’s values, emphasizing selflessness and service. Her favorite scripture, “Love never fails,” (1 Corinthians 13:8) reminds her of the enduring power of love, even in the toughest moments. This perspective has carried her through her career, reinforcing her commitment to making a difference.

Collaboration is at the heart of Lindsey’s role. She leads the corporate policy team, works closely with leadership across all levels and even presents at new hire orientations. Her adaptability was evident when she helped implement the Navex PolicyTech software, streamlining policy and procedure management. “Never in my wildest dreams did I think I’d help set up a software program,” she admits. “But I love learning new things, and this role has stretched me in ways I never expected.”

As she looks ahead, Lindsey’s primary focus is her family—her two teenagers are approaching graduation, and she cherishes the fleeting moments with them.
