Coastal Rush Soccer donates $2,763 to Lakeview Center, supporting foster youth with specialized needs

Pensacola, Fla. (August 13, 2026) – Coastal Rush Soccer proudly presented a $2,763 donation to Lakeview Center’s specialized therapeutic foster care program, reinforcing the organization’s commitment to supporting children and families throughout the Gulf Coast community.

“Coastal Rush is built around families. Every week, hundreds of families trust us with an important part of their children’s lives, and we believe that comes with a responsibility to support the greater community around us,” said John Guidroz, executive director of Coastal Rush Soccer. “As a former foster parent, I’m especially grateful that we were able to come together and make this donation a reality. A big thank you to all of our Coastal Rush families who helped make it possible.”

The donation will support Lakeview Center’s specialized therapeutic foster care program, which provides critical resources and services for foster youth with specialized behavioral health needs. The program serves children and teens who have experienced abuse, neglect, abandonment, family disruption and other significant challenges.

Donations help provide clothing, school supplies, recreational opportunities, household essentials, therapeutic resources and personal care items that can provide children with greater comfort, stability and a sense of belonging during difficult periods of transition.

“Community support makes a profound difference in the lives of the children and families we serve,” said Dustin Perry, director of residential services. “We are grateful to Coastal Rush Soccer Club for their generosity and commitment to helping create brighter futures for some of the most vulnerable members of our community.”
