Applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy helps us focus on your child’s unique needs.

Our autism program provides specialized care for young people from ages 2 to 21 on the autism spectrum. Our caregivers recognize that each child is unique, so we work together with families to build a treatment plan that’s right for your child.

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a scientific discipline that looks at behavior trends. The principles of ABA guide our clinicians toward improving your child’s ability to function at a level that’s appropriate to him or her. They do this by reviewing events in your child’s life to determine which ones may be contributing to challenging behaviors. Then they introduce new skills to replace those behaviors. Our specialized caregivers work together with children and families to establish goals, create a behavior support plan, monitor and evaluate the outcomes of the applied interventions. Parent training also is a strong component of our program.

Meet our facility dog, Fenwick

Children on the autism spectrum experience challenges and our trained facility dog, Fenwick, helps them grow. Fenwick came to us after completing extensive training, and the children love him. His interactions are comforting, which helps kids build on their social skills.
